The First Thing to Do Is Move
When you have a dozen things to change in your life, what should you do first?
Move. Physical movement is the ultimate cornerstone habit. If you don’t get any exercise, everything else is harder. When you do a little bit of physical movement, you get more energy. Use that to move a little more. This compounds the energy until you have some left over to handle the next thing you want to change.
It doesn’t matter which kind of movement. Walk, run, take the stairs, swim, play squash. Change starts with physical movement.
